Legacy Connections Announces Jim and Eleanor Randall Foundation Gift to the Rose Bowl Legacy Campaign

PASADENA, Calif. (January, 2015) –

Legacy Connections, the private fundraising arm of the Rose Bowl Stadium, announced today a gift from the Jim and Eleanor Randall Foundation towards the continuing renovations of the Rose Bowl Stadium.  In addition to a generous financial donation, Eleanor Randall, a talented artist, has created two original canvasses that are now displayed in the Terry Donahue Pavilion.

The Rose Bowl Stadium is a walking museum of sports and entertainment excellence and many of the most historic moments are memorialized in the Pavilion through photos, program covers and an historic timeline.  Mrs. Randall two paintings are American football themed works, one focused on the past, the other on the present with brighter tones.  The two paintings created by Mrs. Randall have been installed in the lobby area of Level C/Blue Moon Club.

“ The Rose Bowl is steeped in History, family memories, and most of all, is a beautiful American Icon. I am proud to have been asked to be a part of this amazing venue,” said Eleanor Randall.

In recognition of the gifts, the entrance of Level C in Terry Donahue Pavilion will recognize the “The Jim and Eleanor Randall Foundation.”

Legacy Connections is a 501(c)3 organization formed by community and business leaders to financially support the renovation of the 90-year-old Stadium. The work being done will improve the fan experience and public safety while maintaining the Rose Bowl Stadium’s National Historic Landmark status.
